01where does my data live?
in your browser's indexeddb on this device, plus any folder you connect — sessions and screenshots are written there as plain json and png files. no servers, no accounts, no sync.
02what does the activity percentage mean?
it counts clicks, keystrokes and scrolls while the tracker tab is visible. a minute with any input counts as active. it measures this tab only — it cannot see your other apps, by design.
03what happens when i go idle?
after five minutes without input the timer pauses and asks: keep the idle time or discard it. discarding shrinks the session so reports and invoices stay honest.
04how do screenshots work?
opt-in. when enabled, the tracker page itself is captured every few minutes while a session runs, stored with the session, and saved to your connected folder. it never captures other windows or screens.
05how does invoicing work?
mark sessions as billable, then pick a client, hourly rate and date range. each session becomes a line item — optionally rounded up to 15, 30 or 60 minutes — and the invoice prints to pdf via your browser.
06can i move my data?
yes. export csv for spreadsheets, json backup for a full copy, and import either back. the formats are simple and documented by the files themselves.
